Olana Light is a multidisciplinary artist based in Portsmouth, UK. Working across sculpture, performance, installation, photography and moving image, she has exhibited and presented her work nationally and internationally.
Her work transforms the human body into strange, organic forms that blur the boundaries between people, animals and landscape — exploring connection, environmental fragility, and our place within the natural world.

The physical language of the work.
Each sculpture begins with materials drawn from the natural world — bark, moss, fibre, stone. These are not finishes but collaborators, carrying the textures and histories of the places they come from.

Make something together.
Alongside performances and installations, Olana's practice includes workshops and community making — inviting participants to create their own sculptures, share experiences, and become part of a larger artwork.
Open to all ages and abilities, these sessions encourage imagination, conversation, and a shared reflection on our connection to the natural world.
