Social interconnectedness offers human beings a sense of identity. The lockdown created great anxiety and uncertainty. This work makes familiar things unfamiliar, challenging our sense of the everyday.
Adapting to the New Reality of Life Under Lockdown was the Sunny Art Prize 2nd winner. The work creates a fantastical world that offers an escape from the daily routine, making familiar things unfamiliar — removing normal life experiences from familiar associations to give everyday domestic experience a new meaning.
