The Idea

The work explores women's visibility — and invisibility — within the urban environment, placing sculptural forms into the public realm to question who is seen and who is overlooked.

Invisible Women is a wearable sculpture and photography billboard project presented as part of Found Cities, Lost Objects: Women in the City — a billboard commission curated by Lubaina Himid, in partnership with Arts Council Collection, Southampton City Gallery and 'a space' arts.
